Moving to Japan was a monumental step in my life, marking the beginning of a new adventure both personally and professionally. I relocated here with my wife, our two dogs, and two cats, leaving behind our family and friends in Spain.
It was a difficult decision, but one that was driven by our passion for new experiences and my dream to develop games full-time.
The transition wasn’t without its challenges. Adapting to a new culture, learning the language, and settling into our new home while also diving headfirst into game development has been a whirlwind.
But it’s also been incredibly rewarding. My love for creating games has only grown stronger since arriving here, and I’m excited to share my journey as a developer, a husband, and a pet parent navigating life in Japan.
